この度のGerhard Kraetzschmar教授（ボン - ライン - ジーク応用科学大学，ドイツ）の突然のご逝去の報に接し、ロボカップ日本委員会会員一同、心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。
Gerhard Kraetzschmar教授はロボカップ発足当初から現在まで様々な形でロボカップの発展に尽くされてきました．
2016のロボカップライプツィヒ大会では責任者を務め素晴らしい大会を開催したことは記憶に新しいところです．
2016年に続く2017年のロボカップ名古屋大会の開催においても多大な助言を頂き，名古屋大会の成功はGerhard Kraetzschmar教授によるところが大きく，そのご厚志は感謝に堪えません。
この度の突然の訃報、いまだに信じられない思いです。今後もGerhard Kraetzschmar教授の意思を引き継ぎ，2050年のロボカップの夢実現のために前進していく所存です．
ご遺族の皆様に謹んでお悔やみを申し上げると共に、心より御冥福をお祈り申し上げます。

It was a shock to hear the unexpected news of Prof.Gerhard Kraetzschmar's passing.
We at the RoboCup Japansese National Committee would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Prof. Gerhard Kraetzschmar,
He was a truly great global leader and we are proud to have been his RoboCup partners.
He was our valued colleague and made a huge contribution to the success of the RoboCup.
Our sincere condolences are extended to his family at this tragic time.
May he rest in peace.
